YABANAKI Beach
The beach Yabanaki at Varkiza is particularly child friendly with sand, shallow waters and multiple activities available such as beach sports, banana rides, water ski, wind surf, beach volley, a playground with train and a bouncy castle (open from 18:00 to 23:00 every day).
There are also sunbeds and umbrellas included in the entrance fee during weekdays. During weekends and bank holidays you need to pay an extra 10€. You also have the option to enjoy a coffee or drink at one of the four different bars or enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the three restaurants available.
If you happen to forget something basic, do not worry!! You can visit one of the shops and buy a swim suit or even towels. If you believe you deserve a bit more luxury, do not hesitate to rent one of the bungalows available so that you can relax with your family.
Families should know
- There are certain events i.e. concerts during the weekends in the summer which means that the place gets noisy and crowded
- Though prices at the restaurants are reasonable, it is recommended that you bring your own water, juices and toast
